During the month of November, which begins with the celebration of All Saints and All Souls, we, the church, are called in a special way “to remember our brothers and sisters who have gone to their rest.” St. Mary Parish will have a Mass with a special remembrance of those whose funerals were celebrated here during the past year on Sunday, November 3, 10:00 a.m.
Personal invitations will be sent to the next-of-kin of those whose funeral Mass or service was celebrated in one of our parishes. If a family member or friend of yours died in the past year and the funeral was celebrated someplace else, you are invited to include them in this Mass of Remembrance by contacting us ([email protected] or 781-383-0219) with the name(s) as soon as possible and no later than Friday, October 25.
The Mass will include a reading of the names of all those we are remembering. Our prayer is that these Masses will be a time for those who are grieving to experience both comfort in their sorrow and great hope for the future.
As a reminder, Daylight Saving Time ends that weekend. Do not forget to “fall back”, set your clocks back one hour, before going to bed on Saturday evening, November 2.
